IBF was privileged to be visited by LHL-I Senior Advisor to Zambia Dr Verónica Álvarez-Mañón. The visit was meant to orient Dr Mañón on the Programmes that IBF has been implementing, her visit was from 17th to 31st March 2023. In But Free and Ubumi Prisons Initiative on 13th October 2022 launched the Project Mental Health Matters 2 funded by CISU. The Mental Health Matters Project will be implemented in Correctional facilities in four(4) Provinces namely Copperbelt, Central and Lusaka and Southern Provinces. The project aims at addressing mental health challenges within the correctional facilities.
